I hope my old friends remember me as someone they have good memories of. I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. My favorite way to relax is to take a hot bubble bath, with a nice glass of wine. I wasn't very wild in school. Probably the wildest thing I did was hang out with friends who were much wilder! My heroes are some of the people I work with, who never give up, no matter what challenges they have. I've lived in Florissant all of my life, except for the 1 year right after I got married, and we lived in Maryland Heights. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mary Ann Adrian, because she was my first "best friend.". I think my family is my obsession. My biggest surprise in life has been that I didn't work until my youngest son was 7. I never pictured myself as the stay at home type. But I'm sooo glad I did it! If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a sunroom. My dream home would be enormous. I've learned that it's ok to be really smart, kind of nerdy, and not to care what other people think about you. I'd love to see Mr. Walsh again, to apologize for being such a brat in his class. If I won $100 million, I'd give 200,000 of it to Alzheimer's research, then spend the rest on family, travel and a big house. I think I am truly happy now, living with my husband of 27 years!
