Patrice's Story
I hope my old friends remember me as someone they have good memories of.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My favorite way to relax is to take a hot bubble bath, with a nice glass of wine.
I wasn't very wild in school. Probably the wildest thing I did was hang out with friends who were much wilder!
My heroes are some of the people I work with, who never give up, no matter what challenges they have.
I've lived in Florissant all of my life, except for the 1 year right after I got married, and we lived in Maryland Heights.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mary Ann Adrian, because she was my first "best friend.".
I think my family is my obsession.
My biggest surprise in life has been that I didn't work until my youngest son was 7. I never pictured myself as the stay at home type. But I'm sooo glad I did it!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a sunroom. My dream home would be enormous.
I've learned that it's ok to be really smart, kind of nerdy, and not to care what other people think about you.
I'd love to see Mr. Walsh again, to apologize for being such a brat in his class.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 200,000 of it to Alzheimer's research, then spend the rest on family, travel and a big house.
I think I am truly happy now, living with my husband of 27 years!

e now would be grown up. I was so completely wrong.
I'm an assistant support manager for a not for profit organization that provides support for people with developmental disabilities. The monetary compensation is terrible, but I love my job!
I have no idea what happened to my first crush! Jim Freeman, are you out there somewhere?
My best friend would tell you I'm great, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stand offish.
Pretty much jeans and a decent shirt describe my style.
I share my home with my husband, 2 dogs, our youngest son, a bird, and a tarantula, which I find works just fine.
If I got one do-over, I would have found a way to go to college out of high school.
In 10 years, I hope to be be a grandmother. I'm going to get there by hoping like heck one of the three kids decides they want to reproduce.
My oldest friend is Jan Clark. We met at Sacred Heart, 4th or 5th grade? We instantly became best friends, and despite losing touch with each other for a while during high school, we met again at Sacred Heart's school picnic, and remain best friends to this day.
My first job was at Just Jeans, where I got paid whatever minimum wage was to sell clothes. What I remember most about it is how much I hated the new manager.
In fourth grade, Tom Moynihan threw a worm in my hair. My hair was really long and thick, and the worm broke into pieces when I was trying to get it out! I was traumatized for life by that event. I'm scared to death of worms now.
