Patricia's Story
Hey Class of 1971, how is everybody doing? I'm doing good. I recently moved up to Pennsylvania after living in Florida for 20 years. Got married right after graduation and had three children, and yes, with the same man. Was married to the same man for 37 years, when he passed away one week after our anniversary. I also have two beautiful grandchildren. I now live with them. As i said, had three children. Two boys and one girl. I live with my older son and the grandkids, my younger son still lives in Florida with his wife and he also in the military serving with the United States Air Force and has been for the past ten years. He entered the Services right after he graduated from High School. And my daughter just recently got married last month and she is a registered charge nurse for Baptist Hospital in Florida. All in all life is good. Still think about the High School years. Had some really good times. The only thing i regret is not going to my graduation, and reason being I didn't attend was...Expand for more
that my mom was killed in a very bad car accident two weeks before and I really didn't see the reason in going to graduation if she wasn't going to be there. But, that's in the past and life went on and I dealt with it. My life turned out to be a great one. Blessed with beautiful children and grandkids and awesome daughter-in-laws and great son-in-law. So yes, life is good. Still working though. Can't see myself retiring yet. Think I would go nuts if I had nothing to do! lol. Anyway, again, hello to the Class of '71. It was the best of times! It is now the year 2020, and since I last posted this, I now have five grandchildren. My daughter has a little girl, who will be 4 years old in March, and my younger son, the one in the Military, has a a girl who will be 7 in August, and a boy who will be 2 in June. So since this last post, my family has grown, and I'm just loving being a grandma. It's the best thing ever! Well, I hope this year finds the Class of 71 doing well. Will check in again soon!
