Patricia King:

CLASS OF 1969
Marshall, TX

Patricia's Story

I've been in Longview for the last 7 years. I am as close to Marshall as I want. I still enjoy running into classmates, but have never cared for crowds. I am an avid reader. A library card is the first thing I get for fun when I move. I lived in Ore City and Tyler, before where I am now. I taught myself to knit while in Tyler. My home is an apartment now, and I have the required rocking chair on my patio with some plants and whimsical touches. I like laughs that catch you unaware. have a quiet life that I make into what I want. I try to assist or donate, without calling attention to myself. I made a promise to the community in general to leave my house with a smile on my face, be grateful and be kind. I've been single since 1979, and plan to remain so. I enjoy eating out, and can be found at a variety of restaurants. I do love to cook. I dearly love my coffee strong. I have whole heartedly worked on my health and since I was last at a reunion, have lost 60 pounds. There was an opportunity to go to Europe in 1990 with a friend at the time that I got to enjoy. It was places and sites I never thought I would get to see. My son and I traveled all around Texas, and I have joined friends on trips to spots of interest in our surrounding states.
