PATRICIA's Story
I have been living in Arizona for the last 28 years and am now retired after my four careers, the last being in the legal department of Maricopa County. I enjoy traveling as much as my budget allows. Usually, I take road trips across country to visit relatives and friends in Michigan, Ontario Canada, New Jersey and Louisiana. Last summer's road trip consisted of 6,800 miles. This year, I also fulfilled bucket list objectives of visiting Hawaii and the USS Arizona Memorial. I chose living in Arizona for several reasons, primarily because I got tired of waiting for spring to come. The cost of living is quite low here and it is centrally located to some of the grandest scenery in the Country. My two sons and my three grandchildren are all grown and living their lives, so now I am loading up the bucket list and checking things off.
I regret missing the 50 year reunion, but I had just started a new job with the County and was unable to take any time off. I am hoping there will be a 60 year event and that one I will not miss.
