Patricia's Story
I moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1992.Iam currently working in the Social Service field employed at a Shelter as an Advocate.I also spent 14 years working with the homeless population at the states largest facility Central Arizona Shelter Services, which housed approximately 400 single men and women, to achieve self sufficiency.
I've learned that you can never live up to anyones expectations but your own, and sometimes that can be a great challenge in itself.
There were two teachers that made a major impact on my life ,but unfortunately I'm not able to remember their names after 30years: that was my English Lit. teacher whom took the class to Chicago on a field trip ...Expand for more
for a dinner theater to see "The Man Of La'Mancha" which taught me the interest of the theater arts. The other was my Biology teacher who taught me to take care of the planet we live on or suffer the consequences as in the global warming and wasted energies we are still facing today but at a much faster pace.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/4 of it to my charity of choice helping the homeless, then 1/4 on my children and grandchildren, buy a dream home and take a very long vacation, invest 1/4 for the future, and of course remembering my friends which I consider my extended family that we promised each other we would include in our winnings fulfilling their dreams.
