Patricia's Story
Life
I have been married for 54 years this July. I have 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. I graduated from Joseph Lane Elementary in 1945, I attended Commerce High School (which was later changed to Cleveland) for 2 years, then transferred to Franklin High School for 2 years. I was then employed at the Central Library in Portland for 6 months prior to my marriage to Clinton Lloyd Crafton on July 14, 1950. We then moved to...Expand for more
Prineville Oregon in 1956 where Clinton went to work for Les Schwab Tire Center. I worked at the Prineville Medical Center for 13 years until we moved to McMinnville Oregon to open a Drive-in resturant. That lasted for 1 year and then I returned to the medical profession as office manager for Emerson Collier MD, a Urologist for 11 years, when he sold his practice to G Craig Kiser MD in 1987, I continued on with him for 11 years retirring in 1998. I then decided that I was happier working and went to work for Gordon Banks, MD a Neurologist retiring for good in November 2003. I am presently retired and enjoying it very much.
