Life
Hello everyone! Graduated with an Associates of Applied Science May of 2005, took state/national boards June of 2005 to become an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician). Living out in LaCoste with my boyfriend since May 2005. I have a new clinical job at Austin Hwy Animal Hospital...with a great doctor and a great staff! Matt and I have four dogs and a cat between us...Golden Retriever from school, his old Black Lab, our new Jack Russell, and of course, my black and white cat Fargo. Our latest member of the family is a Shih tzu/spaniel mix. Life is great!

or a 2+2 program for a veterinary degree. After my first year switched majors to a assosicates in applied science to get a veterinary technician career started. I wasn't keen on the idea of being in school for another 8 years, the finances weren't right, and the man I was with was 10 years my senior...so I was wanting to settle down before I would have gotten to my degree. Now, that man is way out of my life, but I am glad with the decision I made and have no regrets.
Workplace
I'm a registered veterinary technician at a animal hospital on austin highway. I've been there since July 05 and have never been happier. I've got great benefits, a nice retirement plan, great accomdiations at work, and overall a great work environment.
