Patricia's Story
Life
First came the wild twenties with a lot of travel due to my advertising account executive position. How did I survive on 5 hours sleep? Then it was the hectic thirties and commercial real estate. I was too busy to have children and therefore, I did not have the "grounding" that probably leads to stability. Therefore, I am still a "wild child" at 60. I think being an adult is now out of the question.
In 1994 I was in a car accident that has left me permanently disabled. It was actually a good turning point after I excepted the fact nothing was going to be the same. Of course, that exce...Expand for more
ptance took about three years. Now I can reflect on what I had and enjoy the memories without any longing to have it back. I enjoy what I have now, and foresee a future that is much better than it would have been if the disability had not side-tracked me from the fun, but frantic lifestyle I was leading.
I love creating my original fine jewelry (Beyond Jewelry)and it sells for more than I could ever have imagined! I am also surrounded by true friends and an understanding family. It is so nice to finally slow down and enjoy this life, but I am still that wild child...I just get more sleep!
