Patricia's Story
Following graduation I served four years active duty Navy stationed in San Diego. The Seals and Underwater Demolition guys trained on the same base. Ah, a great place to be when you're between the ages of 18 & 22. And stationed across the road from the beach!
I moved to New Orleans with my first husband. We divorced and I eventually met my second husband.
Jerry and I both worked for AT&T before the Feds broke it up. We transferred to Charlotte, NC to keep our jobs with AT&T. 1990 found us transferring to the Atlanta area as AT&T was closing ...Expand for more
the Charlotte office. We worked in Conyers, GA until we retired. Jerry retired late 2004 and I retired early 2012. I lost Jerry to cancer in August of 2013. I'm step-mom to Jerry's two daughters and step-grandma to two granddaughters.
I moved to Dothan, AL the beginning of 2017 to be close to friends. Living on six acres in the country in GA got a little lonely after Jerry died. I was going to move to Louisiana to be closer to the girls, but that fell through. I have dear friends here in Dothan and love living here.
