Patricia's Story

Life in Simi Valley is much slower paced then my days at SBHS. I love my quiet time but I also enjoy the time I spend with my Children and Grandchildren. I have been married to Robert for 26 wonderful years. He is my rock and has been a terrific step father to my three boys. My oldest son is an airline pilot with US Airways. My two other sons work for Raining Willows. Raining Willows is a salsa company started from a dream by my middle son, Mark. We have 3 grandchildren. Alexis Willow is 14 George William is 6 and Victoria Rain is 4. They are all an absolute joy to the both of us. I started working for Farmers Insurance in 1982. After securing my Bachelors degree I was able to promote to a Claims Supervisor. Claims was a great field...Expand for more
but on February 1, 2007 I retired after 25 years of service to the Company. Now I watch my Grandchildren so the parents can work and it is wonderful. I have my special time with each of them. The class of 1965 celebrated their 45 year reunion and for the first time I attended and it was terrific. My dear Nancy Harrah Holley flew in from Florida to attend and we had such a great time making up for our 42 lost years. In fact it was so much fun that one of our classmates will be returned in April and we had a mini reunion...it was such a success we are having another one on February 18th, 2012. I know it will be a wonderful time visiting with all of my friends from the class of 1965. Wishing all of you blessings from my house to yours.
