Patricia's Story
Life
I have been married to Ray Sanborn (McLane '65) since 1966. We moved to Washington state after his Air Force service during the Viet Nam era and we have lived here since 1970--except for two years that we lived on the Island of American Samoa.
Ray and I own a drywall business. Plus, I work at Lummi Nation School as a teacher.
Ray and I plan to travel, do some volunteer work in building and teaching, do some sailing, and do some hiking as soon as he retires (about one year from now).
I also plan on doing some fine art painting, photography, writing, and bookbinding of fine art books during our journeys.
We have two children and two grandchildren.

August 2010: Just returned from a 10 day visit in Fresno. First time back in over 20 years! WOW, how it has changed. The weather is still hot--I love hot weather and I miss living in sinlight every day. Who knows, we may move back to California one of these years. The housing is reasonably priced right now. The food, Mexican food, is the best north of Mexico! I love Fresno Mexican food. Cantinas are my favorite places to eat, just in case you want to get together next time I am in the area. Next summer, some time in June and July we will be there on a working vacation. We hope to see you then. contact me. ahead of time so I can plan a visit with you. Next summer!
