Patricia (Paddi)'s Story
Life
Married to EHS Alumus Clark Cain, since 1964 and continue to love him and share our interests and lives together. After graduation I attended PJC and finished a year before I decided to work for a while. Clark joined the USAF and we began our life together at his first duty assignment Charleston SC. He spent 20 years and retired from the USAF. His most exciting assignment was when we were stationed in Australia. I decided early along that Federal Civil Service was the best place for a dependent spouse to be...I could transfer as Clark changed duty stations. After about 7 years, Regina (our only daughter) came along and she is the joy of our lives. ing full time -- and received my Masters in Education at UWF. Within one month in 2003, I received my Doctrate in Education, retired from Civil Service, and built a new home! I now accept short term contracts writing curriculum, usually for military. We are involved in church activities at Myrtle Grove United Methodist; I am involved with three Mardi Gras Krewes and love to dance and parade. I am active in various other activities and do water aerobics three times a week. Clark and I enjoy traveling and cruising. Our daughter is Lt Colonel in the USAF and currently is stationed in Washington DC. My sorority sisters and I get involved in lots of fun activities and we are always up to something. I love my life and would not change anything so far.
