r, a grateful American. I haven't always made the best decisions, but my heart is always open to healing those affected. Having lost both of my parents recently, I have become accutely aware of how precious every moment is. As my own kiddo is soon crossing the threshold into adulthood, I am moved to re-enter the world I left to "parent*, with different eyes and ears, a changed heart, and a deep need to heal others and myself, and my community either by word, deed or great action.
I also deeply miss and love my Sister Valerie (and her clan) and my brother Joey (and his.. ____) ;). I miss my Brother Robert, but since his stroke, he isn't even himself.. I love him, but miss him.. retro to ten years. Time is precious, and honouring time with those you love is the greatest gift any of us have.
I am having an insanely hard time letting go of all of the loved ones we've lost in our family in such a short time (10, all toll), but I try to remind myself of gratitude, compassion, and the hope I see in the Light of my beautiful daughter's spirit. Don't count me out just yet.. just let me lick my wounds, offer a hug or a smile.. and before you know it.. I will be the happy, smiley, little Lotus I always was.. I shall float my own dreams in tears.. build me an Ark O' Lord..
