My name was Patsy, back then. When I found out what a "Patsy" was, I knew my mother had cursed my life with my name! lol I was shy, but had a temper! In fact, my nick-name back then was temper-T, from the tantrums I could throw, I guess. My best friends were Debbie Kunard (I saw her at the mall in Topeka, several years ago. She'd had a sever stroke, but her husband is awesome! He was still taking her shopping and was still looking for a full recovery, but if he never finds it for her, I think he'll always love her just as much as if she'd never had the stroke! He, in my opinion, is a REAL man!), and Susan Woodruff, but I also considered Yvonne Benander, Kris Cordts and Jo-Jo my friends. However, Kris and Jo were in a more "elite" group with Debbie Foster, and Becky Ruble. I always admired them and was envious of the attention they got from the teachers. haha! Funny how little things stick in your brain! As far as my childhood crushes, I think I had a crush on all the boys, at one time or another, Tom Lang, Neil Smith, but my heart throb was always Gene Ziegler!!! I loved that guy, but he never liked me back, or at least, if he did he would never show it! I was an Air Force brat and relocated several times in school, so I never excelled at anything, was never popular or felt as if I ever fit in anywhere, so eventually, I just dropped out of school, convinced I would never be accepted in anyone's clique, as if that was a major life factor!
