Paul's Story
Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well and would love to see more biographies posted. I was pretty shy back in those days and, if it had not been for being manager of the basketball team, nobody would have known who I was. After graduation, I wasted 2 years at SAC, then got serious and got a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1974) from UT-Austin. I had to work my way through college, but made it interesting as a part-time private investigator, among other things.
I've spent my entire career in the aluminum industry - Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa - 16 yrs.)
Vialco in the Virgin Islands (St. Croix) - 5 1/2 yrs.
Noranda Aluminum - Alabama - 4 1/2 yrs.
Gramercy Alumina LLC, Baton Rouge, LA as Operating & Maintenance Director
Retired for good in 2016.
Married Linda Snow Guzzo in Victoria, TX. in 1978 and honeymooned in Acapulco.

s from Alexandria, LA. She has 3 degrees and was a school librarian. We've been parents to 2 wonderful boys, Patrick, who passed away in 2000 at age 20 and Stuart (age 32), married with 2 children.
We have vacationed in Hawaii, St. Martin, Puerto Rico, Mexico, St. Barts, England, Greece, St. Thomas, England, Ireland, Scotland, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Charleston, Las Vegas, New York City, Pensacola, Gulf shores, AL, and Orlando! not to mention Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Pigeon Forge. Italy is next...
I have spent a number of years on genealogy, but the last year has been a focus on my immediate family. Spent the last couple of years building a hot rod (mid-life crisis). See a photo in my gallery.
Thoroughly enjoyed the 50th reunion in October, 2018!! It was my first.
