Paul's Story
Life
Retired from AF in 1984 from the 20th SOS as a gunner on Hueys. Survivor of the crash of 44ALPHA in the Bahamas.
Live up in Catalina, AZ. with my 3 dogs, Sally Mae, Eike and Ginger. Sally is a Redbone/Walker Coonhound that is retired search dog with 3 live finds and 1 homicide cadaver find. Eike is a German Shepherd that is my cadaver dog and water search dog for drowning victims. Eike has 1 find on a drowning victim. Ginger is my Bloodhound for tracking. We go to schools and other places and do wilderness safety talks to children and they just love the dogs.
Workplace
Work as a K-9 Handler in Search and Rescue as a resourse for the Pima Co. Sheriff's Dept. I work a Bl...Expand for more
oodhound in tracking and a German Shepherd for cadaver and water search for drowning victims. Work for various Law Enforcement Agencies around the state and in Mexico with the Federallies. Participated in Bloodhound Research Workshop with the FBI at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. on the DC Sniper Shootings and Antrax letters. Have been involved in several homicide cases and searches for lost hikers and children.
Military
Joined the USAF after graduation and served in Southeast Asia for a year. I flew Huey helicopters as a door gunner in Special Ops till I was in a crash in the Bahamas in 1984 and was medically retired. Was doing Drug Interdiction with the DEA when it happened.
