Paul's Story
Life
Shortly after college and getting involved with a Jersey Shore band for a while, I met my wife and moved to Chicago. Over the next several years, I've worked for three dot-coms and thrived on the chaos and excitement during those years. I was afforded the opportunity to be an expert in my field (online communities and entertainment) and wrote for many publications. While all good things must come to an end, the fall of the dot-coms opened up the best opportunity I would have never thought of... a stay-at-home dad. I'm now watching my 3yr and 5yr old girls grow up, spending much time with them while consulting part time from home. My passion right now (besides my family) is Cigars. I don't smoke them too often, but I do love collecting them... so much so that I built a walk-in humidor in my home to showcase my collection.
College

college route after high-school, and didn't go for my bachelors until recently. I just wasn't ready for college back then. While working made college a challenge, I enjoy learning much more than I did back then.
Workplace
Playboy was my first of three dot-coms (I actually helped start playboy.com). It was my first experience in corporate management and directing a large group of talented people. While Playboy was an 'adult-oriented' publisher, I was focused on the emerging Internet technologies in the Online division. It was Playboy that afforded me to be a pioneer in many new technology firsts. Many of the technology and business trade magazines recognized Playboy and my team as trend setters at that time.
After a few years it was time to move on. Since then I've been with two other dot-coms until a few years ago. I'm now a full-time Dad for a while.
