Jennell's Story
Life
I attended elementary school in Lansing, MI; Richmond, IN; and Marlette, MI. Junior High was in Marlette, MI and Fort Wayne, IN. High School was New Haven High School near Fort Wayne, IN and Jackson County Western High School in Parma, MI.
I Graduated from Jackson County Western High School (MI) in 1974.
Graduated from Spring Arbor College (Spring Arbor, MI) in 1978 with a major in art.
I started work in the "entertainment" industry in college by creating art and game adventures for the hobby game industry. I worked for a number of companies over the years, including Judges Guild, Coleco Industries, TSR, Inc. (as a cover illustrator and department manager), id Software (as a designer ... making 3D gameplay environments), as an artist for Microsoft/Ensemble Studios, a Dallas-based game studio, CCP North America (the makers of the EVE Online and World of Darkness games) and most recently as the the Chief Creative Officer for Ol...Expand for more

Notable projects have included design and writing of Dark Tower, Dungeons & Dragons adventure for Judges Guild, design of WarGames for the ColecoVision, design of the PC game Lord of the Rings volume 1 for Interplay, painting the covers for Dragon Mountain from TSR, doing dice icon art for TSR's Dragon Dice and Marvel Dice, game play level design in Quake 2, Quake 3 Arena, and Quake 3 Team Arena for id Software, and Age of Empires III and Halo Wars for Ensemble.
Outside of work, I've beeh involved in organizations relating to the computer game business, including designing the the Masters Degree program for Southern Methodist University's Guildhall at SMU game development program.
Married twice. Divorced twice. Currently engaged to be married again. I have two fantastic children from my first marriage.
