Paula's Story
Life
I got married at 21 and 3 years later I began to have a family. In 1996, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, (Kaitlin Noelle). A year after that I gave birth to another beautiful baby girl, ( Megan Brooke). 1998, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, (Christian Alexander). Having a large family brought a lot of changes in my life and unfortunately I was divorced in 2002. I began dating a man I had known for a couple of years and in 2003 we were married. I now have 2 more beautiful daughters, (Leia Abigail, born in 2004 and Isabella Nicole, born in 2005). and very exhausting but I know when I get up in the morning I always have these beautiful faces to look at and that makes it worth it.
Workplace
I am a Retail Manager for a women's clothing store. I am presently working on moving up in the company to an Area Supervisor where I will get the opportunity to do some traveling and get the training needed to become a District Manager. I have been given many challenges in my retail career and have mastered every challenge given to me. My biggest challenge with this economy is to get my store sales up and succeed on bringing the shrink down. Mastering these 2 challenges will give me what I want to do as my next step in the Retail industry.
