Toni has my grandson, Ayden which is a joy to my heart. He's very very smart - got that from his NANA but mostly because of his parents. They teach him and he flourishes with his knowledge. Denise has my two granddaughters. Bailey was my first grandchild and came at a time in my life, the early 40's when you think you would like to have another child..She is 15 1/2 years old and a very beautiful teenage girl. I helped Denise while she was working and going to college. She was a JOY to my life and always will be. She is also a very great girl to know. Everyone loves her that meets her. She has a strong Christian background and loves to be involved in her church. She is very intelligent and does excellent in school. She is GREAT with her little sister, Koreigh, who is 3 1/2 years old. Koreigh loves her BIG SISTER too. They are almost inseparable. Koreigh learns alot from her big sister. GOD has blessed our family with many additions. My younger sisters are grandmothers also and that's why I say that GOD has blessed us. We have very healthy children and grandchildren. My mother is still alive and doing well. She tries to keep up with all these great grandchildren and does great with them. My parents were very good parents and I will never be able to TOP what they have done for me in my life. My Dad died 3 years ago at Christmas after a battle with Cancer but we all know that he is where the angels sing and watch over him. He was a GREAT father to us three while we were growing up. My mother watched over us while he was driving a truck to keep food and shelter for us three girls. One memory that always sticks to my mind is t...Expand for more
hat when Daddy would come home after being on the road for a few days, On Sunday, he would take us all to Kentucky Fried Chicken in Fredericksburg VA and pick up a bucket of chicken and then we as a family would go to Brooke's Park and spend the day. He was always a FAMILY man and spent quality time with us when he could. He is very much MISSED by us girls, Mom, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. But we will see him again in Heaven. That's about all I can say about my family. As far as me, I'm SINGLE. Just got out of a very BAD relationship and don't plan on getting into any more relationships any time soon. I've had my quota of bad seeds out of the watermelon and feel like my time needs to be spent in other areas. I give up on the relationship idea. I've always wanted a marriage just like my mom and dad, but that is not possible now, not enough time left. They were married for 55 years and happily married. Inseparable. I messed up in the past but we learn from our mistakes. And I've had a few, but who hasn't?? in these days??? And life goes on..whether we want it to or not..I have a Harley Davidson motorcycle which I LOVE riding. Nothing like having a BAD day and just get on it and ride till the day looks brighter. Relaxation. I love music and love to watch musicians play that know their music. I never learned to play an instrument and it wasn't because my parents didn't try. My dad bought me three guitars in my younger years, 10 or 11 years of age. But I was too busy doing something else to slow down and learn. Climbing trees or building tree houses was my thing. Guess I might try to learn now, that could be a goal to learn, because I know a few musicians that are great and I admire them when they play. I build websites for a hobby, actually. That is my ART. Designing is a creative tool that I feel I'm very good at and I have proved it in the past with business websites that I have built. Well, that's about all I can write right now. I was a Trauma Nurse for about 23 years and loved that profession. Emergency room nursing takes skill and patience. I admire any emergency personnel because I know what they go through. Being ready at any time is a gift from GOD. That's it for me !! Now I'm retired and take ONE DAY AT A TIME !!!".
