Peggy's Story
Well, it's been a long road getting to where I am now...sometimes there have been detours through dark, scary allys. Other times it has been a nice journey. I don't regret any of it, for it all brought me to where I am now, and I am truly happy and thankful for my life now.
I had a 3 year old son who was killed in a car wreck in 1999. After that I kinda went down some bad roads and prety much lost who I was. But I now have a 7 year old son and a 5 year old daughter and they are my world. I got saved in 2003!!(I am no longer a Jehovah's Witness). I got my life together and , although it has taken some time and it is still an uphill battle just to survive in this world anymore, I have to say I am truly happy. I got to church every time the doors are open. I have a decent job. I am going to college full time(finally) and will be working in the field of health care . I have two beautiful children and a wonderful man in my life whom I love ved...Expand for more
ry much. I hope to spend the rest of my life with him. I feel that God has given him to me. I went through some bad relationships and stuff, but it was God's way of preparing me for the best..so that I would appreciate the good once I got it. I am blessed and truly thankful for everything in my life.
I have been able to reconnect with some friends from school, and other places in my life, thanks to this wonderful invention called the internet. When I have a friend, no matter how long it is till I see them or if I never do..I still love them as always and cherish the friendships I have had through the years. Maybe I am too sentimental, but that's just how I am.
I hope whoever reads this comes away knowing that life is a journey, with it's ups and downs. We are all worht somehting in God's eyes, and we can accomplish anything and overcome any obstacle set before us, if we just trust the Lord and have faith in ourselves.
