Peggy's Story
Hi... if you are reading this you must care where I am and what I am currently doing so...
I recently moved back to the Kankakee area after 30 years living between West Palm Beach Florida and Los Angeles, California.
After High School I attended Illinois State University for a year, then got married to Dan Dattilo (Bradley HS). in 1966. I had my first child - a son, Brenton, in 1968 - went back to KCC for a year - then had my daughter Kristin in 1970. In 1971 I had my son Bryan and in 1973 I got divorced.
Also in 1973, my dad, Ron Harbour, (Ron's Drive In) was killed in a head on collision and that devestated me.
After my divorce I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where I taught school for a year at a private school. I wasn't making enough money, so I went to work for the National Enquirer! lls, California where I lived for the better part of the next thirty years.
For the past ten years I have been working as a free-lance writer for magazines world-wide, including In Touch, Life and Style, OK! STAR, and Gala in Germany and The Daily Mail and Now in London.
Although I was engaged twice, I never married again. My son Brent lives in Hebron, Indiana and works for Ford. He and his wife have four great kids, Reilly, Noah and Reese and Tysen.
My daughter Kristin lives in LA and is an actress. She is divorced with two daughters. My son Bryan is also an actor who lives in LA. He's played Lucas on Days of Our Lives for the past 28 years - he is married with a 21 year old son Gabriel and a 6 year old daughter. He is also a grandpa to Alexander.
I love to travel and have been to Europe more than 60 times! My favorite place is England and I return there at least once a year - when there's no Covid!
