Peggy's Story
Life
I married Kip Johnson (class of 1966) in 1967. I 16 & he 19. We had our 1st boy & bought a home in 1970 in Snohomish & lived there for 17 years during which time we had 2 more children a girl & boy. We divorced in 1987 after 20 years of marriage. Kip continues to be single and is living in Monroe.
I was single for 7 years & remarried in 1994. To a guy who'd never been married & had no children. He became instant "husband" "stepdad" & "grandpa" We still laugh over that one! We now have 3 grandkids 2 of which we've adopted.
We are living in Marysville and the kids are now going to be in Kindergarten and 3rd grade so life should "slow" just a bit. I hope.
If I had to say ONE THING to sum it all up I would say "KIDS" have been and continue to be my life.....

Lets see... my first "real" long term job was working for Everett Cablevision , (begining at age 17)for several years key word "Vision" whom over the years has evolved into "via com" and being we are "comcast users" have no idea what they are about now ad...Expand for more
ay...prior to that..the regular part time jobs for "young adults" christmas help at sears and JC penny and even bussing tables at Petosas also had a few months at the old "sprouse Reitz in Snohomish and somewhere in there a few years off and on at Snohomish County Courthouse working part time in licensing when they were all due at the same time of year!!! and in the boring "voting" department filing!!
Then a short break to stay home and fight with the kids and back at it later on.
So then it was managing a Prosthetic and Orthotic Company in Everett for about 6 or more years then a change of pace.. I took a job bookkeeping for an Attorney in Everett and have been with him for 17 years now and here I will retire from.. YEAH..sometime within the next 5 years I HOPE...
Oh don't be envious if your not able to retire by then as I am only going to retire into raising 2 more kids which will by then be 10 1/2 and 13. Second thought think I will continue to WORK...not that we are not raising them now anyway... God Help Us as we need it for sure!..
