Peggy's Story
After DHS, I went to Philadelphia and nursing school. After graduation, I moved to Atlanta, got married, worked, had my daughter in 1966. In 1967, we lived in the Bahamas briefly, then to New York state where my son was born in 1969(actually, the date of our 10th reunion was my due date). I divorced in 1970 and moved to Chicago temporarily. I'm still here, it just never seemed the right time to pick up and move. I've worked since graduating from nursing ...Expand for more
school at various specialties within nursing and am now in my "retirement job" which probably won't ever happen(retirement, that is). I do personal health support for an insurance company, talk to people about their health, prevention, etc. I know that I was very shy and quiet in high school, for the most part, and want to apologize to anyone I might have offended by not being responsive, I was just too shy. I'm not as shy now, can't be in the work I do!
