After high school, I attended Massey Business College. I got a job with Gulf Oil and worked for them for 19 l/2 years....until Chevron bought us out. I started my own answering service and worked at that for 2 years. When I worked for Brown & Root for 2 years. I then started a resale shop which I ran for 5 years. Then, I moved to Coldspring, TX because that's where my sister lives. I bought a place in the same subdivison, Lake Livingston Acres. We are only a mile from each other! It's real woodly and I gave 3 l/3 acres. I bought a double-wide mobile home and moved it on the property. I have a well so I have to have a "pump house." I build a garage. I then went to work for the Department of Criminal Justice. I started out in the Wynee Unit, transferred to the Hightower Unit, and then ended up at the Sex Offender Treatment Program, which is located in the West Hill Mall in Huntsville. Now for a bad news... In 1996, I went to the doctor for a cold that wouldn't go away, they ran some tests and found out I have Ovarian Cancer - Grade 4. And that I had 6 months to live. I went to a doctor who specialized in that type of cancer. She said we would operate immediately and see what we could find....she operated on me and found 13 tumors in 5 organs. She removed all but the 3 on liver. She treated them with 6 chemos (of course, I lost all my hair! I saved alot on shampoo!). Within ...Expand for more
