Life I married in 1984 & have 2 awesome kids, 1 beautiful granddaughter & 1 adorable grandson. I HAVE TRULY BEEN BLESSED! After graduation I worked for Rockwell International, in Richardson Texas. In 1991 I was laid off for almost a year, and then called back to work. I continued working for (same company with a new name) Alcatel USA, until I was laid off a second time in 1999. Alcatel bought out another company (DSC) & relocated to Plano, Tx. Though I am thankful for my 21+ years with Rockwell/Alcatel, I was relieved to be laid off. ******* A TIME FOR CHANGE ******* I worked for a couple of small "mom & pop" companies, and I enjoyed it, but I found my true calling... BEING A STAY AT HOME GRANDMOTHER! I LOVE IT and I'm so grateful for the time that I'm able to share with my "lil' sunshine angels". My daughter is 31 now, working full time & being a Mommy full time to our "sunshine angels". My son is now 29, he lives in Tyler, Texas. He graduated police academy and received his badge over a year ago. He is currently working as a deputy sheriff (Patrol Deputy) in Gregg County. He's also a member of the Longview PD SWAT team. Before I graduated from Spruce H.S. (Dallas, Tx.) in 1978. I lived for a while in the Hill Country near Blanco, Texas. We lived in a sub-division called Cypress Lake Gardens (near Spring Branch).
