Penny's Story
Life
I am a very laid back person. I have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren ages 2 to 20. 5 girls 1 boy. They are my special angels and I adore them. I am married and live in St. George, Utah and have for 14 years. I am very active in my church (United Methodist). I am involved in Backpacks for Kids, Inc. that is now a non-profit organization that provides backpacks and school supplies for under privileged children. I started the organization with my Real Estate Agent and it has grown by leaps and bounds. It is a very rewarding endeavor and we hope to take it Statewide. If you are going to dream, you might as well dream big. I am retired sorta. I do some part time bookkeeping for a roofing contractor.

I started school at Onequa elementary in 1952 until the 6th grade. The schoo...Expand for more
l no longer exsists. The teachers I remember are Mr. Baxter, Mrs. Kershaw, Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Pugh. Clasmates I can recall off hand are, Cleo Westmoreland, Susan Youngberg, Ann Baldee, Ronnie's Ruiz, Lublin and Dangerfield, Stephen Morris, Barry Nielson, Dee Richens, Steven Sokol. Can anyone add to that list? I then went to Jackson Jr. High School for 7th Grade 1959-60.
From there to Judge Memorial High School we were the first 9th grade class to the new high school. Sister Lucide, Sister Bethania, Father Goddard and Father Kenny are some teachers I remember from there. Then My favorite Good old West High From 1962-1965. Memories from there are far more vivid and teachers and classmates to numerous to mention. Then to Utah State University for 1 quarter. There you have the short version.
