Penny's Story
In 1988 my husband, Bill, and I transferred to Wichita, Kansas, where we lived for 28 years. When Bill retired, we then moved to the Panhandle of Florida for two years until the hurricanes chased us back to Georgia! We traded an ocean view for a mountain view and settled on retiring to the North Georgia Mountains just north of Dahlonega. ell. Now I sing in the church choir in Dahlonega. We have now been here for a year and a half and live with our two horses, Buddy & Lacy, our little dog, Nellie, and our beloved cats. We also enjoy spending time in nature and on Lake Lanier, being able to attend our family events around the Atlanta area, making new friends in the area, and connecting to old friends in our home state of Georgia and Atlanta.
