Penny's Story
Lets see...Im not sure how far back you are supposed to go in these things ...so here it goes..lol
I went to Fairdale from 82 to 85.In 85...we participated in the vocational
program where I followed my friends to check out "health careers".There were other schools...which gave us the opportunity to meet other students..We became friends with a lot of girls from Southern...Mazie Powers,Karen Cockerill,Lori (married name Schmidt..I think I spelled it right)and alot of others.When I graduated ...I went to work at Burger King where I stayed for 3 years...then quit to be a stay at home mom for a year.(Yes I skipped some j...Expand for more
uicy parts in the middle...lol lol)After my daughter turned a year..I went to work at another job where I STILL AM...lol...Yeah...I had a few jobs in between...Meijer,UPS,Bank One and even the Zoo.I have moved several times and now have a home in Valley Station with my daughter who is now 19.I lost my mom in 1999...and just recently my father on July 22nd of '08...I had been his caregiver for the last 8 1/2 years...I guess my "health careers" training and me following my friends was for a reason...I miss them both very much.I think thats everything in a small nutshell...If you want to know anything else...just ask...
