In 1998 I started my MA degree. I spent four summers in northwestern Spain. I got my MA in Spanish literature. p many preparation periods to tutor me and she kept in contact during my college years. Everyone deserves a teacher in his or her life that they can relate to and who takes an interest in them. Sra Bravo was an extraordinary teacher who taught us only in Spanish and shared stories of her native Cuba before the revolution. My sister, Mary, loved her as much as I did. I am now in year 35 of a pretty amazing teaching career. I am also,on the Board of,Directors for the Connecticut Education Association. I have to say that my time in the debate team was well spent and all that i learned from people like John Sanderford etc. helped me enormously throughout my life.
My favorite memory from hs is Joe Valet standing up during the test in Mr. Binder's class urging our row NOT to cheat. He became one of my heroes that day.
