Peter's Story
Life
The above photo dates from 1968 when I was at public school in Peterborough Ont. I'm the punk in the middle of the shot with his eyes closed and wearing mom's red selection of the day. Mom saw me as a small version of my father, and ironed creases into my blue jeans even into high school. (Some of you from New Brunswick may have enjoyed a good laugh at that, and rightfully so).
The large number of 'my communities' i've been part of reflects the fact my father's business involvements required us to move around late in his career. Being the youngest of three boys, I was the last one still at home - and so got carted along.
Met and married a Dutch girl after U of G and we have an 11 year old daughter as of 2010.
Typical of the Netherlands, our offspring is blonde with blue eyes (solid hockey player, pretty good at soccer and lacrosse too)
We live in Oakville, a western burb of Toronto.
My wife works in the scientific-equipment business (lab stuff I know nothing about)
I've bounced around careers starting as a road-band drummer out of high school to various media gigs - some in front of the camera and others in the background. Some of you might have seen me here or there in a show and didn't know it. I'm a terrible actor, and am only used for situational support.
I currently work with the Holmes Group, producers of the "Holmes Inspection" tv show. For those who are wondering, yes, he is the sa...Expand for more
me in person as he is on TV. I mostly research and write pieces for Mike's web site and ghost-write for his articles in other various media.

2016 Update: Wow, how time flies. Fast forward from 2010.
We are still in Oakville, except now our daughter has flown out to Vancouver to begin her studies at UBC and train with their strong women's soccer team.
Elected to move Gillian out of competitive hockey years ago due to concussions. (Don't be fooled by that 'girls don't hit' rhetoric - plenty of aggressive play exists if you look in the right circles)

As you can see she is rockin' a new, short-haired look and selected a hair colour that causes many of her Asian colleagues on the west coast to call her 'blondie' The shot was taken at a regional championship game on Thursday, July 28-'16 at a local field here in Oakville.
