Peter's Story
I grew up in LA, most of the time lived on Del Moreno Dr. just a couple blocks from Taft. I went to Portola Jr High, and then to Taft for 73-75. I ended up doing my senior year in a high school in the San Lorenzo Valley, near Santa Cruz After high school, I enlisted in the Army from '77-80 as a medic in an infantry division. After I got out I enrolled at UCSC for undergraduate college and graduated in 1984, I went to St. Louis University for med school, UCSF for internship, then Portland Oregon for research and dermatology training.
Since 1994, I have been a full time dermatology professor at Stanford. In the clinic, I specialize in blistering ...Expand for more
diseases, especially patients with a devastating childhood blistering disease called epidermolysis bullosa. I also direct a basic skin research lab studying cancer, and hair development. This link describes some of what I do, in more detail if you are interested:

Along the way I met Janis, my wonderful spouse and we live in the Redwood City area, which is close to Stanford. I have several friends from Taft whom I keep in touch with, but have lost touch with most of you. So I would welcome the chance to renew an old friendship, (or to finally get to know an old acquaintance better).
