Peter's Story

After graduating from Maine Maritime Academy, made 13 deployments to Vietnam. In 1967 married the love of my life Patty Dingwall and we have 3 great sons and 2 grandchildren. Got into the design, construction, operation, servicing and decommissioning of nuclear pow...Expand for more
er plants. Helped start a new nuclear service company in Richland, WA and, as President, serviced nuclear plants worldwide. Retired in 2013 however still do nuclear consulting work off and on. Living happily in Richland, WA close to our 3 sons and their families.

It is with a heavy heart that I learned that my best friend since grammer school, 70+ years ago, Bud Beausang, passed away last night following a lengthy battle with cancer, and is now with his Lord and Savior, cancer free.

A somber night at the Newton home tonight. After 16+ years with us, Co-Co has left us for a better place. Her suffering is over but ours is just starting. We will miss her.
