Favourite Activities
1. Charades as a translation tool for newcomers, eg. taser into Polish.
2. Driving under bridges and adding to my concrete chunk collection.
3. Opting in on buyer protection plans for groceries.
4. Bargain shopping as the last independent retailers go out of business.
5. Tanning in January under a sun that feels a lot angrier than when we were kids.
6. Taking trips to Ottawa (they have the same number of homeless on their streets as anywhere but in Ottawa they are the only ones on the streets).
7. Imagining virtual worlds for office workers to disappear into.

9. Shopping for war rugs on Chicken Street in Kabul.
10. Trying to remember when we moved to Bizarro world.
Major Accomplishments
1. Training local squirrels to shoot hoops in little baskets with plastic golf balls.
2. Being able to recite all the words from Trois Gymnopedies.
3. Listening to the oldest play Enter Sandman.
4. Listening to the youngest sing the chorus to HandelÂs Messiah, ÂHa I Knew YaÂ.
5. Addressing my better half as Doctor D. (incidentally whose initials are the same as Kraft Dinner; fate, well-laid plan, or destiny?)
6. Still wrestling with Kraft Dinner vs. Brown Rice as main source of nutrition.
