Peter's Story After graduating from Fordham College in 1962, with a degree in Contemporary Russian Studies. I attended Queens College for 2+ years accumulating credits in various languages. I was a member of Alpha Lambda Alpha fraternity during that time and have very fond memories of those I met and knew at Queens College, among whom was one very unique person. In 1964 I began graduate studies in Russian Linguistics at Syracuse University and finished at NYU. I taught in NYC at Morris High School and E J Clark JHS 1965 - 66. I joined the US Peace Corps in 1966 and taught at Chikwawa Day Secondary School in Malawi, Africa and returned to the US Dec 1968. I received an MA, in Russian Linguistics from NYU in 1970. Returning from Malawi I resumed teaching at Charles Drew IS. Ann and I had hoped to return to the Peace Corps and Africa but were offered a post in the Fiji Islands or Tonga, which we declined. I taught Math at the Highlands School White Plains NY 1971-73. I taught at A E Stevenson, Bronx NY 1973 - 2001- Bilingual Math, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian.
