Patricia's Story
I live in the Metro Orlando, Florida area. Married Philip A Dick in 1972.One son, Christopher born in 1978 and grandson, Austin born 1998. I retired in 1992, moved to Florida in 2002. We love to snorel and cruise and could never move back north again. I'm a member of the Red Hat Society and have met so many interesting gals and their families. We will be friends to the end. Phil and I have had been lucky to retire so young and travel the world.Love living here in the sunny state of Florida,love swimming in the pool and watching the gators in the lake, watching all the wild life walk by, of course I have a screen between me and all the nasty bugs.Life is good in th sun. 2013 was a very bad year. only child. His son now lives with us. May 3rd I had a blood clot, the ER doctor told me I was going to die. I have two rods in my lower back L5 to S1, and five rods in my neck C2 to T1. I was away from home for nine weeks, summer down the drain. Trips cancelled. We were going to have a Memorial Service in Seattle in June, it was all planned. But I did make it to Las Vegas in September, highly medicated , don't even remember changing planes. We attended our nephews wedding to the former Miss India and Miss World. It was the first time the entire Dick side of the family has ever been together .I'm in the middle of the picture. Turning 70 this month Oct 2014. Still feel young but tell the body that Love to all my old friends..
