Master's degree in nautical archaeology. I am married to Janet, a court reporter, who has served on our county school board for somewhere around 12 years. We lived in Salem (OR) back in the 70's but moved to Powell Butte 20 years ago (before it became THE place to live). To make a long story short, after college I attended law school, was elected District Attorney for Crook County (OR), then spent a couple years as the administrator of the Oregon District Attorney's Association before switching from courtrooms to computers, worked as a programmer/systems analyst/software developer for several years, built a house, ran a computer store for a while, then went to work in software support, and here I am.
