I was stationed at Fort Ord, CA and was a member of Charlie Company 3rd/32nd. Upon arriving at Fort Ord I was first a member of the 7th infantry Division Band and was the Main Post Bugler for a year. I also served on burial details for fallen veterans in the greater area. I was in the army for six years and after getting out of the service I went to College on Uncle Sam. Thank God for the old GI Bill of the 70's as I qualified as a Vietnam Era Veteran. I graduated college 1982. After Bible college, I graduated from ABI in St. Paul MN, I tried living in Florida for a year but that didn't work out as the pay scale was very low so moved back north to Massachusetts. Eventually I moved to New Hampshire as I found a job in Nashua, NH and lived there for 12 years. I worked in shipping and receiving until May of 1988. In June of '88 I went to Vermont College and studied to be a Drivers Ed Teacher. I successfully completed the 14 week course and took the NH Dept of Safety test of which I scored 96 out 100 questions which more than qualified the requirement of 90 passing. I had the third highest score in the state! For six years I taught Drivers Ed.
