Phillip's Story
Life
Okay, so after high school, what did I do? I went to the US Merchant Marine Academy for one year...I did not do so well and my grades suffered. I left and attended CCCC, in the meantime, enlisting in the Army. After I finished almost every possible course I could at CCCC, I went to Texas A&M for the summer school and fall semester. I was in the Corps of Cadets, but did not really enjoy it as it was now what I thought it would be. I left and finally transferred to Texas Tech University. a commission in the US Army. I then went to my Officer Basic Course at Fort Huachuca, AZ for Military Intelligence. After that, I reported back to my Reserve unit and after much wrangling, managed to get posted to a unit bound for Iraq. I have been here in Iraq for almost the past two years, non-stop, performing a variety of different jobs. I did go home for about two weeks in Feb 2005, but will be returning home soon. After that, I am to be posted to the UK. After that, I have no real idea what I'll be doing. I look forward to hearing from old friends, wherever you all might be!
