Phyl's Story
So, it's been 30 years since we graduated. Unbelievable. Most days I don't even feel like I'm 30-years old!
I am married to Greg Peters (17 years next week) and between us we have three children, but none together- Tim Rohe-(22), Meggie Rohe (20) and Alex Peters (20),. Together we had a cat, Buster. Tim and Meggie are in college at Eau Claire and Alex is in the US Army stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. Tim recently got engaged, so I suppose there begins the next chapter of our lives...grandchildren. Hopefully they hold off on that for quite some time. I'm far too young to be a grandma!!
I work as a police clerk for the Grand Chute Police Dept (basically Appleton, WI). I love the work, ...Expand for more
which is good because I will be doing it for many more years! My husband Greg is a carpenter and builds custom curved staircases for a living.
We are in the beginning stages of building a new home, so that is keeping us busy now. On weekends we enjoy going to our land in Lily, WI, just kicking back with lots of campfires and cold beer! Last year we built a cabin of sorts and hope to finish that by next year. We're taking this year off to build the house. We also enjoy getting out on our Harley and taking cycle trips with our friends. Aside from that we live a pretty simple life, which we enjoy. No frills, but lots of fun!! We're very happy and healthy and that is all that matters.
