phyllis's Story
Phyllis graduated in the class of '64. She married Joe Vinson, class of '65. He died in 1993. They have three children and 5 grandchildren. Phyllis taught elementary school from 1964 to 2001 in Akron, Greenfield and mostly in Marshalltown, Iowa.

e. The closest child lives about 30 minutes away, but one lives in Denver, Co. Phyllis traveled to Paris, Alaska and to Jamaica, but there are still many places even in the United States that she still hopes to get to. When the kids were little, the family did lots of sports things - - water and snow skiing, softball/baseball, etc. Now she gets to Hampton, IA to see grandchildren sports, but that's about it!
