Rachael's Story
Life
I am currently a Latin teacher at Garland High School, after returning to school in 2001. I have a degree in Anthropolgy and a degree in Classics. I am currently finishing up all the final requirements for my MA in classics.
I have been happily married since 1992, to a man I met at NMSU in 1988. We have one daughter who is a freshman in high school. My husband is originally from California, so we lived for some time there (seven years). After that we moved to Columbia, Missouri where we lived for ten years (and that is where I returned to school and received both of my degrees). Two...Expand for more
years ago my husband's job moved us to the Dallas metroplex area. We currently live in Plano, Tx, and expect to be here for quite some time.
This June I will be traveling to Rome and Spain. I have been to Rome before, but this will be my first time to Spain. I have also traveled to Greece, Switzerland, France and Germany. I love Greece the most! I also enjoy studying Ancient Greek and Ancient Greek and Roman culture. I read all the time and continue to study a varity of things on a regular basis, even though I am done with school.
