Rachel's Story

Life I live in my hometown of El Paso. I am a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful kids. I have two girls and one boy. I love being a mother and I love being able to stay home and raise my children. I am married to a wonderful husband who loves me as much as I love him. God has truly blessed me! My husband works hard at what he does, and because of that, I am able to stay home with my kids. I had my first child when I was 20. I had to grow up pretty fast, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't change anything. She is an absolutely beautiful, smart, and caring little girl. Actually, she isn't that little any more. She is definelty going to pass me up. She took after her father. If I went down a different road, I wouldn't have had my other two children. My second child's nickname is "Pistol" and she acts just like one. She is such a character. She is beautiful, smart and caring just like her sister but they have totally different personalities. And my third child is the sweetest little boy ever. He has a gentle spirit but he can defend himself when he needs to. That's all thanks to "Pistol"! They fight with each other but they always defend each other. I would have had more children but my husband thought three was enough. I wanted four and he wanted two, so we met in the middle. onger in El Paso. My husband wants to move to San Antonio and start his own realty company there. It is a little scary because I have lived in El Paso all my life and all my family is here. But I am definetly excited. We recently visited San Antonio and we all loved it over there. It is nice and green and there is so much to do over there, especially for the kids. I can't wait! All I have to say is thank God for all the blessings he has placed in my life. I wouldn't have it any other way. School School was fun but there are some things I would change if I could. I dated one person off and on throughout high school, except for our senior year. We were able to stay friends when we weren't dating. The most fun I had was my senior year, especially the last day of school. It was funny to see how everybody was ready to get out of there, talking about what they were planning to do after high school, all covered in shaving cream and heading to friends houses to have fun. Some people going out of town to college and some staying here in El Paso, going to UTEP. All going in different directions, starting a new life. It is fun to look back and see how high school was but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't. My life right now is what is important to me. I love my life right now and I wouldn't change a single thing.
