Rachel's Story
Life
I had put a brief bio up the other day but then reading everyone elses realized mine needed work. I joined the Army straight out of high school which for most people who knew me was odd because I was kinda shy, scattered, ditzy "blonde". Since I have been in the military I have been to South Carolina (basic training), Georgia (twice for school), Fort Sill Oklahoma (two years), Texas and St Louis (visiting), DC Area (2 years @ Pentagon), and South Korea(twice) oh and planning on visiting Japan in NOV. I am currently living back in South Korea, and my 2 1/2 year old son is in VA(and no I have not gotten married...Expand for more
yet). I've recently been promoted and if everything goes well he will be in Korea next month. Right now I am not for sure whether I will stay in or get out. If I stay in I am hoping to go to Europe or back to the East Coast. If I get out I will be trying my luck at my old job in the Pentagon. Overall I think the military has been a good choice for me even if I do not stay in, it has helped me grow alot as a person, and experience things I would never have staying at home. I am also excited about the 10 year reunion coming up can't beleive its almost been 10 years. As long as I'm not deployed I will be there.
