Rachel's Story
Since I was requested to tell my story, here it is....upon graduation from Central, I received my bachelors degree four years later. I went into teaching and have been doing that ever since...25 years. I went back to school to get two master degrees: Masters of Arts in Education Administration & Supervision and Masters of Science in Communication Technology. Presently taking a break from my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership specialization in Educational Technology. One might ask why so much education? Well I have a passion for what I do and that is molding the minds of my students to be successful and productive in society. By me learning more, I keep the brain working plus make myself marketable for the working world. I teach both at the high school and for University of Phoenix.

8. I am ready for them to go out in to the world and contribute in a positive way. And for me I am ready to get rid of the mommy mentality and begin enjoying life.
A friend once asked me, do you know we have lived 2/3 of our expected life? It made me think real hard...the question is what are you going to do with the 1/3 left? That is the question I would ask of the "Class of 1980" What are you doing with the 1/3 of your life left. Remember we do not have the luxury of time. It is being lived in a positive manner, helping others, or is it lived complaining, feeling sorry for yourself or repeating the same mistakes over and over. You might ask what am I doing with mine, and my response is making a differene, finding ways how I can help others, and making changes to what is not working for me so that I do not get the same disappointments. Let it be that when it is all said and done, that you have made a difference.
