Rachel's Story
After High School I went off to BYU. I was there for 2 years. I had my appendix taken out after having appendicitis. 4 months later I went to Spain for a study abroad program.
While I was living in Spain I met a family that was looking for a nanny and decided to stay for a year. After coming home, I worked and saved for a mission and ended up going back to Spain. Needless to say, I became fluent.
I came home from Spain and got married to Blaine, a good High School friend, just 7 weeks later. I finished my third year at BYU while he worked in Salt Lake.
Then we moved to Phoenix, Arizona because Blaine got a job there. Just 6 months later he was offered a job in Seattle, Washington where we had our son, Ethan. Aft...Expand for more
er living in Seattle for 3 1/2 years we moved to Southern California where we had our daughter, Abigail.
After 2 years, Blaine and I seperated and after another 2 1/2 our divorce was finalized. I have now been in California for almost 6 years and I plan to stay. We share joint custody.
I remain a committed member to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I am currently dating a man named Robert who lives in Provo, Utah, though he is originally from Southern California. He is also divorced and a father of 5. He is looking to move back to California.
I currently work as a corporate administrative assistant to a manufacturing company. I plan to go back to school and get my teaching credential this next year.
