Life
Added, August '06: Life is getting ready to get crazy! I am currently home in Illinois working at the U of I. I moved home about 2 1/2 years ago to plant a House Church. We started meeting just a couple of weeks after I got home and God has blessed it tremendously! The way that God has grown us closer to each other and to Him is just incredible! I am surprised that I have managed to stay in Illinois almost 3 years now! I went to school in Oklahoma City, lived in Dallas Texas for awhile, and even spent some time in Wyoming. I am a Southern girl at heart! I will be done paying off my student loans in December and in March I am moving to Kansas City, MO. They have this amazing movement going on called the International House of Prayer. They have been meeting for 7 years now. It's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, prayer and worship!! I am going to do an internship there called Fire in the Night. I will be in the prayer room from midnight to 6 am every day! After the internship I hope to start their seminary school in the fall in the apostolic track. It's the kind of seminary I always wanted to go to. Everything is hands on and the professors are walking along side of you instead of towering over you. Everything they ask of you they are doing as well, so if they ask you to spend 3 hours in the prayer room, they are there with you in the praye...Expand for more
r room. It's how Jesus was with His disciples; He took them along side of Him and mentored them. What comes after school? Well, my Jesus knows, even if I don't!
I became an Aunt this past year to the most beautiful boy in the world! He's my pride and joy. I am still playing softball and volleyball and love the sports! I started playing the guitar in college and have really become a writer. I definitely see songwriting and some books in my future. It's such an amazing outlet. I love people, but I have found that I much desire the one on one to the group setting. I discovered in college that I am a lot more introverted than I or anyone else would ever have guessed. Alone time to sit and write is vital for me! Well, I guess that's what's going on with me these days. I figured with our 10 year coming up (can you believe it??!), that I would let people know what's going on in my life. If you're reading this, then I send my love and I would love to catch up. If by some random chance you are reading this and I didn't really know you in highschool, I wish I did and I definitely missed out. Life's details are intricately laced together and we all have something to offer each other! Embrace your worth and give it out freely . . . you won't ever regret it and it will bless people more than you will ever know!
