Randy's Story

Great to see faces and names from the past. After college, worked 30 years for Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife in the hatchery system. Started in Chiloquin, then Hebo, Madras, Maupin, and finally Trail. Married in 1978 to my lovely wife Carol, celebrating 43 years together this June. Our son Matthew was born in 1980, and has settled in Ashland with his wife Ashley. Carol and I are both retired now, (she tought HS math for 30 years), and we are now retired and living in Brush Prairie WA, just outside Vancouver. I enjoy working in my shop, most...Expand for more
ly tinkering. We have a 1940 Ford coupe hot rod, and take it out when weather allows. We live in a very wooded 2 1/2 acres, up on a hill above a small community known as Hockinson. We have a small travel trailer, and recently spent a couple of days on the John Day River with some friends. I still hunt elk in Oregon, mostly unsuccessfully, but much enjoyed. Been hunting with the same core group for over 30 years. I don’t do social media, but do email and text/talk at five four one- seven seven eight-three five one seven. Would love to hear from you.
