Raven's Story
I'm a nice; outgoing person! Love animals and close friends! I have a love for nature and quiet times to myself! I like to travel and read! Live and learn!
I go for walks in the park on sunny days.
Pog and pokemon gambling when I was in
elementary and it was fun! I tend to
travel quite a bit!
It was time to move on with my
life!
I've travelled to the East Coast of
Canada 5 1/2 years ago and I enjoyed it! 3 1/2 years ago I took a bus to the North West Territories and it was awesome while enjoying the 24 hours of daylight! I now have a physical challenge that left me wheelchair-bound for 4 1/2 years now since
June 2006; but this doesn't stop me! I
still travel regardless and I will still continue doing what I'm doing! I am going to be doing a bus trip this summer to the North West Territories once again and I'm looking forward to it!
The Yellowknife ,NWT trip got cancelled due to committee meetings that I have to attend every month! It is an Accessibility Advisory committee whom I'm part of; breaking down barriers fro disabled people like myself who is physically challenged! This is my job that I do; part of the Committee; joint with the municipality I deal with and I enjoy it! This Accessibility Advisory committee is also a great travel oppurtunity for me; whereas I have to take Greyhound every-time to attend a meeting but it's a nice bus-ride everytime I go!

off for almost 2 months now due the Olympics! Next month in April I'm back on the Greyhound bus back to work again! I'm certainly enjoying my time-off which is really great!
The Olympics were fantastic in February 2010 and I partied for 2 weeks!
I have stepped down from the Accessibilty Advisory Committee due to the committee not keeping their word on accessiblity and my travel expenses including bus-fare were not being paid for! I am still an Advocate but only now in the city I live in!
It was great times being part of the Occupy protest! I put my volunteer job on the back-burner for a while so that I could protest and manage the Infrastructure tent as Supply Manager making sure that the campers and protesters alike had warm clothes and blankets and so on as donations came in from the community!
I have still been travelling regardless of a sort of recent accident that put me in the hospital overnight in the spring! I have attended 2 10-day long parties which is a ritual that I do every year in the spring and summer and will be doing again this year! Ilike being a road warrior! It's obviously in my blood!
I am switching the bus for a plane this year; it'll be fun. No favorite trips this year on the bus until October; have to pay off travel expenses. Trip on the plane was cool. Loved being out of province. Didn't wanna return home at the end of the trip; looking forward to getting on the plane later this year.
