Ray's Story
Name Change.......
Dad got Lung Cancer in 1996. Doctor Gave him a year to live. Over that year tracked down Dad's Aunt and Uncle from his Dad's side of the family. June was my Dad's adopted name.
Dad's true Blood last name is Amato.
Dad died 366 days later. Made it 1 day past the year he was give...Expand for more

I was 28 not married yet and decided I wanted my kids when I got married to have the Amato name. It was discussed with Dad before he died.
Turned out over the past 40 years many of the Amato's lived very close by.
One lived right here in Sterling Heights.
So thats why I am Ray Amato
